Trois-Rivières, Centre-du-Québec
A historic Quebec city founded in 1634, it is located at the mouth of the Saint-Maurice River in the Saint-Laurent River. Trois-Rivières' economy has traditionally been focused on industry, notably the paper industry, but has evolved over the years to include sectors such as manufacturing, technology, retail, tourism and education. A city with an active cultural life, home to several higher education institutions as well as proximity to nature make it an attractive destination.
