Is posting a rental listing on Appartogo free?

Yes, posting an apartment rental listing is free for individuals. Appartogo also offers paid options to increase the visibility of your property listing among tenants.

Can I post a property ad as a real estate agency?

Yes, Appartogo accepts listings from real estate agencies. You can post multiple properties for rent and benefit from management tools tailored to your professional needs.

I accidentally deleted my listing. Can I recover it?

Yes. If you accidentally deleted a rental listing, you can easily recover it. Log in to your Appartogo account, access the relevant listing in the "My Listings" section, and click the Reactivate button. Your listing will become visible again to tenants looking for an apartment to rent.

How do I contact a landlord on Appartogo?

To contact a landlord or property manager, use the See the Ad button in the right column of the listing page. You will be taken to the landlord's original listing, where you can contact them.

What should I do if I don't receive a response after sending rental requests?

Make sure your message is complete, polite, and precise. Clearly introduce yourself, indicate the property you're interested in, and specify your availability dates. A well-written message can make all the difference in your search for an apartment to rent.

Does Appartogo offer rental properties across Canada?

Appartogo allows you to find an apartment for rent in most regions of Canada, including major cities like Montreal, Toronto, Quebec City, Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, and Ottawa.

However, the Maritime provinces (New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland and Labrador) are not yet supported. Good news: their integration is planned soon!

Are the prices of apartments for rent negotiable?

The rents listed in the ads are set by the owners. In some cases, it is possible to negotiate certain aspects (rent, inclusions, lease term) when you first contact us.

Is it possible to filter rental properties based on my needs?

Yes, Appartogo allows you to use advanced search filters to find rental properties that match your criteria: price, number of bedrooms, pets allowed, parking, appliances included, etc.

What does "1/2" mean in the number of rooms?

In Quebec, apartments are classified according to the number of main rooms, with a bathroom counted as a "half-room." For example: 1 1/2, 2 1/2, 3 1/2, 4 1/2, or 5 1/2.
