Located on the very sought after Lac Gauvreau, Brendan's Cove cottage is literally only 30 minutes from Ottawa's ByWard Market and minutes from the historical and touristic fair trade village of Wakefield, Quebec. In the heart of the Gatineau park region, there could be no better place to spend your summer or fall getaway with friends and family. The fully equipped cottage sleeps 6 adults comfortably and is the ideal getaway for 3 couples or an entire family. Please note that we accept a maximum of 6 guests in total. The master bedroom has a king sized bed with all new bedding, including a lovely feather duvet and feather duvet pillows. The 2nd guest bedroom has 2 twin sized beds which can be pushed together to form a king size mattress for a couple or left apart for friends or children to enjoy. The third guest bedroom has a set of twin bunk beds, plus a roll out trundle twin size mattress to accommodate up to 3 children / guests in the bunk bedroom. Cottage rental includes access to a paddle boat and a canoe. Guests wishing to explore the lake by Kayak may contact the owner directly to inquire about the availability of borrowing kayaks from another rental property located on the same lake. Please note that due to the threat of invasive species, the municipality of La Pêche recently passed a bylaw prohibiting rental guests from bringing their own watercraft, powered or paddled to our lake.
