This square-log settlers home (circa 1820) was entirely reconstructed in 1996, carefully retaining its rustic charm. If there is a "theme" here, it might be described as a relaxed re-connection with nature, supplemented by your favorite wines, books, meals, and music. The property is most suitable for one or two couples, or a small family with children of school age. It is not suitable for severely handicapped persons. With pine floors and high ceilings, and nicely furnished with antiques and leather sofas, it makes for a comfortable get-away any time of the year; a nice place just to curl up in front of the fire. Among other things you will find a telephone, a small stereo-radio/Bluetooth, a piano, a guitar. an eclectic library. NO cutting edge technology! The kitchen is a good-sized post and beam addition and charming for family meals . It is equipped with a Jenair counter-top and convection-oven, toaster-oven, coffee-maker, microwave, and all necessary utensils. The old refectory table seats 6 comfortably. We request that guests do not smoke inside the cabin. All necessities are provided for your comfort and convenience. You only need to bring your clothing.
