Honey Bear Cottage is a small paradise, offering a year-round getaway for couples or families looking for a relaxing getaway in a private wooded landscape with 400 feet of shoreline on quiet Lac du Chevreuils. The traditional cottage features an open concept kitchen and dining area with a rustic harvest table to enjoy family meals, a living room with an enchanting wood stove, and a large bright covered porch with a view of the garden and lake. The kitchen is fully equipped with cooking and dining wares, key appliances, and basic spices and condiments. The cottage holds 3 spacious bedrooms, with a king bed in the large master bedroom loft, a queen bed in the second bedroom, and a trundle bed and 3 bunk beds in the third bedroom. All bedding, sheets, towels and soaps are provided for your stay. Enjoy a nice family meal or lounge on our spacious covered porch while feeling the breeze, listening to the birds, and taking in views of the garden and lake. Outdoors you will find a BBQ, and several seating areas for you to enjoy your surroundings. Spend the days reading and relaxing in a hammock, and cozy up by the bonfire on cool summer evenings. In summer months enjoy sunrises from our large lakefront dock, fishing in the afternoons, or nighttime stargazing. The lake water is beautiful and clear, ideal for swimming and watersports. We have 2 kayaks, a canoe, a pedalboat and lifejackets available for our guests to use.
