This is a furnished rental (minus a queen mattress; there is a queen frame and boxspring). Originally designed as artist residency spaces, this home has a unique structure involving three beautiful and separate buildings (you get all three) side by side: one is the living room (450 sq ft), one is the bedroom/bathroom (200 sq ft) and one is the kitchen (200sq ft). All three overlook a beautiful creek and ravine. Two of the buildings have a contemporary “Click Home” design. The kitchen is hand built by local carpenter/artisan Scott Avery.

The kitchen has two small fridges, toaster oven, and 3 burner propane stovetop. No oven but there is a BBQ. The small freezer is in living room.

The bedroom/bathroom cabin has an infrared sauna and floor to ceiling windows providing a stunning view of the forest rising up from the ravine.

The living room building (450sq feet) is heated with an excellent and well-maintained propane stove.

All three buildings are set amongst mature cedar and fir trees and are perched on the edge of a deep ravine overlooking Molyneux Creek.

Washer/dryer is in the basement of main house and shared with tenants who also live on the property in main house. The property is shared with a great tenant (they have one friendly well behaved dog) in the house on the same property (closest building is 100 feet away from cabin with large trees in between). The main house and cabin are very private from each other but there is some sharing of the driveway, yard and access to creek and ravine trails between the two homes.

Ideal tenants would be people who love peace and quiet with excellent personal, work and rental references and people who are familiar with and comfortable with acreage life, including occasional black bear and deer visitors passing through. Also someone who doesn't need to bring a lot of their belongings since there is very little storage, would be a good fit for the spaces. The location feels very private and quiet, but is close to shopping (8 minutes to IGA or 8 minutes to Roberts Creek Village), hiking and mountain biking trails, one of the best beaches on the Sunshine Coast (5 minutes) and only 15 minutes to the ferry terminal.

Heat sources are excellent propane stove in the living room and electric in other buildings.

Because the road and driveway are country roads, having a dependable all-wheel or 4-wheel drive vehicle is a necessity for this location.

Very strict no smoking policy. Sorry no pets for this rental. Because of the location next to a steep ravine is it not ideal for tenants with children for safety reasons.
