The lease is for one year, after which you and I can renew it for another year or let it go month-to-month.
For the application process, I like to be up front with you so that you know what to expect going in. See below:
- Let me know via email who will be living in the apartment and who will be on the lease. Take the opportunity to tell me a little bit about yourselves such as occupation.
- Note down the date you would like to move in.
- Tell me if you have any pets. Please be aware that in addition to a damage deposit, there is an additional pet deposit required if you have a pet.
- I will be asking you to fill out a form via SingleKey after we do a showing together. This includes a credit check and criminal record check.
- I will be doing showings on the 26th of October to show you the apartment. Wait for October 28th to hear back from me after a showing and after filling out the SingleKey form.
- After the showing I will also ask you for a landlord or employer reference.
