2BR Garden Suite, All Pets Welcome

Seeking 1-2 folks plus pets for a 2br garden suite in our funky house in West Maple Ridge. Any cats welcome, small or quiet dog friendly, and exotic pets welcome! $2300 including some onsite storage in the garage which is available for extra belongings. Smoking and 420 friendly, but outside only, just as we do.

About the unit: Garden level with big windows looking into a green flower garden on the front of the house (huge living room and master bedroom), and a quiet, verdant, shady and private backyard (2nd bedroom) on the back. You have full use of the fenced backyard and outdoor spaces, and can garden if you like! The unit has its own full size W/D, a full kitchen, and a large tub. The house has Telus Fibre internet wiring; all you would need to do is schedule a downstairs connection for yourself for WFH and gaming friendly internet. Note that a brick pathway from your door to the gate has been added since photos were taken.

Location: A safe, quiet side street north of Dewdney and West of Laity, in a low crime area. Lots of street parking, and multiple parks within walking distance. BC parks are a short drive away. Regular bus service is a 5min walk, with direct connection to the West Coast Express or 10min walk to the RapidBus.

About us: Work-from-home night owls in our 30s, we have two sweet cats and we love to enjoy wine and smoke on the upstairs deck in the evening. We are friendly but homebodies, and very much not morning people due to our work, so late night noise is fine but we like things reasonably chill in the mornings. We love to nerd out, play video games, cook BBQ, have board game nights, and get creative, and would love another long term tenant(s) who we have a great vibe with!

Occupancy: For insurance reasons we cannot accommodate more than two residents unfortunately. What we are open to is multiple pets, exotic animals, and have a happy history of coordinating exchanges around pet-sitting and occasional pet medical support with previous tenants who travel for work!

Rental Term: We prefer a year lease, extendible, and are open to shorter term-rentals if you are, for example, between selling one place and buying another, where the additional storage could be help.
