I’m a mature, single professional looking for a female roommate to rent out a spare room in my home from October 1, 2024.    I’m located close to the Capilano mall in Ottewell (central/ south-east Edmonton).

You get:

• A large furnished room (with built in drawers and a large closet) with a private bathroom across the hall. The room can be unfurnished if you require.
• A fully fenced, large back yard.
• Shared kitchen, laundry, dining and living room.
• Easy and close street parking.
• Close proximity to a transit station, and bus stops close by.
• Some storage is possible in a detached garage or a room adjacent to yours.
• An art and plant-filled, quiet and secure home.
• $975 per month with $500 security deposit. Utilities (heat, power & internet) are extra, and a typical range for half is $100 (July) – $255 (March) – (so that’s $1075 – $1230 total cost).

Requirements:

• Contact info from previous landlord.
• One year of full-time employment if a professional (or equivalent if a student).
• No pets.
• Female is preferred, though I will open my parameters for the right fit.
• Must be happy to cohabit with 2 sweet outdoor cats.
• I can be open to some contingencies, if necessary, for the right housemate and a happy home environment.
