The Basement suite is $1000 a month which includes: 1 bedroom, 1 den, big storage closet and living space area. (Total 500 square feet). A fridge and a microwave are also included. (You have your own private washroom - toilet and sink upstairs) however we all have to share the main bathroom on the second floor because it’s the only bathroom with a shower.

Shared spaces: main Bathroom with the shower, but as mentioned (you get your own private washroom that has a toilet and sink) shared Kitchen.

Sharing with: 1 Adult and 1 toddler

Shared amenities: stove, dishwasher, washer and dryer.

Furnished: No

Parking: 1 outdoor parking spot

Utilities/Amenities: (ALL utilities included): Internet, Heat, electricity, Gas, water

Pets: not allowed

Lease term: minimum 1 year.

Availability: January 1st, 2025

Payment: Security deposit after signing the agreement then pay the 1st month rent before move in-date

Basement for rent for working professional. Criminal/police record check (this will be refunded by the landlord upon signing the lease), proper valid government issued identification and signed rental agreement is a prerequisite before commencement with the basement suite rental. Employment verification and references will be required.

Must be clean and tidy. Overall quiet and peaceful family neighborhood with plenty of schools, parks and walk ways (mountain views). Listing is intended for one person. Younger family lives here, so things not permitted out of respect and guidelines are as follows: No visitors or overnight stays. No alcohol/drugs/pet/parties/smoking/vaping. No devices that generate heat, consume vast electricity and pose risk of fire (ie. space heaters etc.) I do have a toddler so that may be something to consider knowing how kids can be heard at various times of the day.
