Bedroom available in shared accommodation for university student. | Calgary

Hello.

There is a three bedroom house, with two bedrooms currently available for rent in a shared accommodation house in the Dalhousie neighborhood. The rent is $820 per month for the smaller bedroom and $840 per month for the larger bedroom. Both bedrooms will be available for move-in starting on Wed, Jan 1, 2025. 

I am looking for a very responsible and very respectful student or professional to live here. In the past, there have been a mix of guys and girls living here - I am indifferent so long as you are a mature and respectful person. This is an absolutely no-smoking household - this includes cigarettes, cigars, pipes, marijuana, vape, hookah, and any other type of smoking/inhalant. There is abundant free street parking available. This is a no-pet household (due to allergies). In the past, there were many tenants who had lived here whilst working on their internship at the Foothills Medical Centre; it is about a ~30 minute bus ride to that hospital.

All utilities (heat, water, electricity) as well as the internet (Shaw) is included in the rent. The entire house is fully furnished with a sofa, 65' TV, coffee table, dining table, stove, microwave, washing machine, clothes dryer, and a small home gym in the basement. The bedrooms have also been fully furnished with a mattress, bed frame, study desk, clothing dresser, and tall bookshelf. There is a decently-sized front yard (no back yard). There is some storage space available, both outdoors and indoors.

This location would be perfect for a student who is attending the U of C, as the walking distance to the Dalhousie train station is about 10 minutes and the actual train ride from Dalhousie station to University station is only a few minutes. Driving to the U of C is around 5 minutes, as well as driving to Market Mall or Crowfoot Mall. There are many amenities nearby including:

• Restaurants (McDonald's, Starbucks, Boston Pizza, Earls, Dairy Queen)
• Other (Dollar Store, Best Buy, Canadian Tire, Liquor Stores)
