Brand-new, furnished one bedroom suite

We have a brand new, self-contained, fully-furnished, large (840 square feet) one-bedroom suite for long or shorter-term stays in a forested area of Gibsons near Bonniebrook beach. The suite includes:

• 2 private entrances and large (420 s.f.) private outdoor patio with tables, chairs & a huge BBQ
• Large foyer with closet, shoe storage and additional storage space
• a queen-sized bed, bedding, ample space for clothing and a small desk
• a fully-stocked kitchen (all-new dishwasher, microwave, induction cooktop, toaster oven and fridge; dishes, cutlery, utensils, and cookware)
• filtered water on tap and a complete recycling system
• 4-piece bathroom (including bathtub, shower and a large linen closet)
• Private washer/dryer (in bathroom)
• a smart TV with free WIFI
• Radiant in-floor heat on a smart meter & on-demand water

Location: The suite is a 5-minute walk down the hill to Bonniebrook beach and less than a 10-minute drive into the town of Gibsons. You will have bike storage and one parking spot on site.

We are looking for a tenant/tenants who are quiet, responsible, and non-smoking. We live upstairs, so we want people with a compatible lifestyle. Since the suite is fully furnished and there is no room for additional furniture, it is best-suited to a person or couple moving here from elsewhere with few belongings or who is staying here temporarily and has a home elsewhere. We are hoping for a long-term tenant, but will consider shorter stays.

The rent includes includes all utilities (heat, hot water, electricity and WIFI) provided usage is kept to a reasonable level.

Sorry, no pets allowed for either short or long term rentals.

Tenants will be asked to sign a contract, be properly vetted and need to provide employment and tenancy references, which will be checked. A security/damage deposit will be required for both short and longer-term stays. Tenants who stay longer than one month will be encouraged to purchase renter’s insurance, which runs from $12 to $40 per mo.
