Sweet cottage for rent in Qualicum Beach, walking distance along the pedestrian path to town. This cottage is available furnished or unfurnished, as you prefer.

This 426 square foot cottage, one of the original beach cottages which was moved here at a later date, is cozy and full of charm. Enjoy a rural setting while still being able to walk to Naked Naturals to get groceries, or to Fern and Cedar for dinner and a pint. Walk to the farmer’s market this summer and bring fresh local goodies home with you to enjoy on your covered porch while looking out at your garden.

The cottage is currently furnished with a brand new queen bed, a luxury leather reclining sofa, and a kitchen table and chairs. If you would prefer to use your own things, we can also empty it. The place is not furnished to the extent of dishes etc., but if needed we can work something out.

Not pictured as it has not been done, but we will switch the under-counter fridge for a full-height fridge, build a fence around your section of the property in the spring to provide better privacy, and if possible put in a combination washer/dryer. In the meantime, there is a washer and dryer on site (a one minute walk or less) that will be available to you (in an exterior building) two days a week.

The cottage has a spacious wrap around deck with a high private fence, air conditioning, and baseboard electric heat. Tenant is free to garden in their area after the fence is built!

This is the perfect hideaway for a single person who wants the freedom of a stand alone house and the joys of living on acreage, but who values proximity to town and less maintenance.

We are a young family with three little boys (hence wanting to provide you with a fence!) It’s important to us to find the right tenant who will not mind the sounds of children playing outdoors. This is not a suitable property for a dog or cat.
