Queer, nonbinary 57 year-old seeking housemate of any age

Looking for a relatively quiet, considerate, queer-positive housemate to share my home at Renfrew and Kitchener in east Van. Please note that the photos are from the listing -- I am moving in March 1 and the house will be empty. I am looking for someone to move in March 1 or soon thereafter.

My lifestyle is quite simple -- generally early to bed and up early in the morning, I work full time, sometimes at home and sometimes not. I have a small adorable dog who I take with me to work; I am open to one pet (cat or dog) joining us so long as our pets get along. You and I would get along well if you, too, are on the quiet side, if you are a good communicator, are kind and compassionate, enjoy a clean and welcoming home, and are both social and appreciate alone/quiet time.

If you're still reading, let me tell you a little about the house: it has a huge kitchen and a lovely, bright dining area where morning coffee will be a real treat. Besides the location, I am most excited about the huge back yard and deck and hosting dinner parties in the summer (which you would be welcome to do too!). Your room would be the larger of the two bedrooms on the main floor. There is a three-piece bathroom right beside it. While visitors and I will occasionally use it, it will mostly be yours alone. I have my own shower on the second floor. There is also lots of storage space if that's something you need.

The rent is inclusive of all utilities and internet. I do not subscribe to cable; I do not have plans to have a television in the living room. As far as lifestyle goes, I do not spend a lot of time watching TV. I may have a small TikTok addiction but I do not subject others to it :-)
