Hi folks,
Lyle and I (48 and 55) are looking for long-term place to call home. Currently, subletting in Merville until the end of this month.
A stand-alone (no neighbours above or below or beside) one or two bedroom would be great.
We would love something rural, and are happy to groundskeep, and/or do odd jobs around the home/property.
We have two fabulous medium-sized dogs (both around 45lbs), Frodo Baggins Jr III (an 8 yo Cardigan Corgi mix) and Myrtle (a 5 yo rescue closest to a Serbian Hound).
Lyle is an incredible Red Seal Electrician with 28 years of experience as a Journeyman and Foreman, and is a skilled jack-of-all-trades. I am a bookkeeper/office admin gal (currently off work due to drastic ankle break recovery).
We are: kind, respectful, considerate, tidy and clean people. We love to cook and spend time in nature.
We have a number of folks from Courtenay (having moved up from Victoria last month) that can give character references. We might already know some rad Comox Valley folks you might know! Ya just never know! :)
Trying to stay around $2300 (plus utilities), but are open to considerations.
Spread the word, please, and tell your hair dresser, your massage therapist, your dentist, your banjo teacher. ;)
